News from Samui Beach Village - April 2010

If you're into water, but in a boating kind of way... then Samui Regatta is for you! Founded in 2001 and starting with just 11 boats, last year saw 350 participants with entrants from Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore.  This year, the week-long event will be held from May 31st - June 5th where you will enjoy 5 days of racing and 7 nights of partying!

Regatta week sees the island come alive with various Regatta related celebrations at various restaurants, bars and clubs around the island. It really is an unbelievable time to visit Samui and see it come alive with tourists from all over the world participating in this ever growing calendar event.

As you all know we proudly opened Samui Beach Village Resort and Ocean Rooms at the beginning of March and are still moving forward in leaps and bounds with the addition of ANOTHER large pool complete with in-pool bar! This is set for completion within the next few weeks and we know our guests will enjoy.

 

The Orchid Restaurant at Samui Beach Village Resort has been getting some great feedback and was even utilised, just days after opening for a wonderful wedding reception for 70 guests, all of whom had a fantastic time. We plan on holding regular cocktail and BBQ events for all guests to enjoy - so watch this space for further news!
